Observer-Based PID Security Control for Discrete Time-Delay Systems Under Cyber-Attacks

This article deals with the observer-based proportional-integral-derivative (PID) security control problem for a kind of linear discrete time-delay systems subject to cyber-attacks. The cyber-attacks, which include both denial-of-service and deception attacks, are allowed be randomly occurring as regulated by two sequences Bernoulli distributed random variables certain probabilities. A novel PID controller is proposed such that closed-loop system achieves desired level quadratic cost criterion (QCC) has an upper bound. Sufficient conditions derived under exponentially mean-square input-to-state stability guaranteed then achieved. Subsequently, bound QCC obtained explicit expression also parameterized. Finally, validity developed design approach verified via illustrative example.
